Jesus is the great cardiologist. As a “good doctor” he asks questions to help the patient see his own “heart health” and He gives prescriptions for a healthy heart. Does your belief and behavior make Jesus smile or groan?
It takes great faith and love to bring a friend to Jesus. Who is this Jesus? Let us see this Jesus, as sovereign, with authority and power to do what no man can do and to do well. His touch will make you whole.
It is often difficult to see beyond the storms of our life. When in a storm, we are never alone even though we may feel abandoned. When we look beyond this storm we see the glory of the Son of God.
Peace in the storm comes through the blessed presence of our Lord. He walks upon the things which cause us fear. He wants us to recognize Him, come to Him in faith and keep our eyes upon Him and love Him above all.
The ministry of Jesus to the multitude provides for us some valuable life lessons.
God created us with a built-in ability to pass moral judgments on our actions, thoughts and plans. Some call the conscience “God’s voice in the soul” , some call it the heart.
What does it take to become the kind of person who imprisons and beheads a just and holy man and rejects, ridicules and mocks a Savior.
In His home town, many who saw the works of Jesus and heard His words refused to see past the carpenter shop to trust in Him as Christ as and Lord. This is a fatal mistake with present and eternal results.
